Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Marketing Manager-Pet Food will lead the execution of complex marketing activities and performance across one or more specific marketing channels, which may include digital platforms, social media, field marketing, trade marketing or other channels. In this role, you will optimize customer engagement, advance the company's positioning and generate demand for the assigned products, brands and categories within the channel. You will partner collaboratively with key stakeholders to maximize marketing profit and revenue growth and optimize channel performance.

Key Accountabilities

• Work together with Line Manager on Channel Strategy, include channel development strategy, assortment, online & offline channel activity and trade budget management
• Lead the implementation of complex marketing strategies and plans for one or more channels to ensure efficient and effective content, execution and activation initiatives that align with overall marketing and business goals.
• Partner with cross functional teams to plan and execute complex events within the channel to ensure cohesive positioning, capture leads and maximize reach and engagement.
• Partner with external stakeholders to handle channel access and platforms to expand reach and advance positioning within all channels.
• Lead channel performance measurement and channel attribution to enable continuous improvement.
• Maintain in depth knowledge of broader industry events, technologies and best practices to capitalize on channel trends and maintain a pipeline of new opportunities to optimize channel performance.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in trade marketing strategy and planning
• Experience in campaign planning and execution, performance measurement, demand generation and activation and or content delivery
• Budget management
