Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior QA Engineer will provide specialized knowledge of specific segments of quality systems or plant processes such as food safety and quality auditing, instrumentation, specific product line knowledge, computer systems, management or oversight of suppliers and other needed focus areas. In this role, you will be involved in preparation and participation of customer audits and you will work together with internal and external teams to address customer requirements and concerns as well as collaborate on audits.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead plant FSMS and QMS design and implementation, to meet FSSC 22000 and customer system requirement.
• Production process quality system and HACCP plan routine maintenance.
• Work closely with cross functional teams, including product management and production, to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Handling noncompliance caused by internal and external customer complaint, conduct root cause analysis for defects, nonconformities or other quality failures. Drive corrective action impletement and verify effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with formal external and internal quality standards.
• Provide management of specific segments of quality management systems and provide continuous improvement support for operations or other functional areas where needed.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication skills

Proven experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines

Flexibility: able to cope with fast changes within a growing company

Minimum of two years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Mininum of three years of quality system management and production process QA in oilseed manufacturing, or equivalent five years of quality management related experience in food industry (incl. IPQC, QA, SQA, EMQA…)

Fluent English reading, writing and listening.

Familiar with TQM tools and statistical analysis

Experience in project management
