Job Purpose and Impact

China Pet R&D Lead, will lead innovation pipeline and product develop operation to build Petmaster Brand competitive power & cross team capability.

In this role, you will enable the business to enhance its commercial growth agenda by bringing its best technology to an exclusive set of prospects throughout the region.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and manage strategic innovation projects for a defined region and provide expertise in assessing new business opportunities and setting priorities in our innovation pipeline.
• Provide expert nutrition information to our customer base across the defined region.
• Develop and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders including sales, strategic marketing and technology team and customers.
• Identify trends and contribute on portfolio renewal and participate in strategy setting enabling us to deliver on business promises.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or other post-secondary degree in veterinary, animal nutrition, or related animal science discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience
• pet food R&D experience in recent 3 years(must), it would be better with experience on freeze-dry, oven bake, wet food, snack and supplement.
• Good cross function communication skills
